The site is coming alive again!
I'm working toward getting a handle on inventory, updating pictures and descriptions, adding a few new plants and reviving some that I haven't had in a few years!
As promised, a nice selection of grafted trees will be available this year. Cool varieties hand tended and loved. Apricot, apple, pear, plum and more.
A lot of great mulberry seedlings this year as well as excellent black walnuts.

You don’t exactly see this perennial ground cover often! While the common birdsfoot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus) is a common sight in lawns and along roadsides, big birdsfoot trefoil (L. pedunculatus) is not seen as often and is noticeably larger.

This is a great spreading ground cover. It covers ground quickly if given a free area to run into. It certainly does well in wetter areas. I started a patch in an area where water runs off the roof and it has done very well there.

This could be a companion planted with many different species to help out-compete other weeds. It is a nitrogen fixing plant, so it can help enrich the surrounding soil.

What Is Nitrogen Fixation?

Nitrogen fixation is essentially when a plant can convert atmospheric nitrogen into a form which can be used in the soil by plants.

Generally, if a plant can fix its own nitrogen, it can more easily become independent and live in more challenging contexts with lower fertility.

Growth Parameters:

Expect a ground cover rising to about 2 feet maximum. Keep areas weeded to maximize light and soil for development.
